Frequently asked questions

Do I need an Immigration Consultant?

No you don't. IRCC emphasises that all immigration forms and information are available for free on their website, and if you follow their instructions, anyone can complete and submit the application on their own. BUT why do you feel even more confused after reading all these free resources? Because everyone’s circumstances are different – You are risking your application if you just blindly follow the website, or what your friend or some random person on the internet has done.

An immigration consultant can offer professional advice specific to your own situation, which will save you time, avoid making common mistakes, and increase chance of success.

Can you guarantee that my application will be approved if I hire you?

No I cannot, no one can. Because again, every case is different, and it is always up to the officer to decide. But if you retain me, I promise I will do my best to work with you to prepare the best case to present to IRCC.

I will also give you the most honest advice - If I think you may not succeed, I will tell you right away, and it's up to you whether you want to try or not.

How much does it cost to hire you?

It varies depending on the type and complexity of the application. Please email me so I can assess your case and give you a quote.

Can you only charge me if my application is approved? Or can you refund me if it's refused?

I am sorry, no. Our profession is strictly forbidden to offer contingency billing, i.e. charging on results only. My service is to help you prepare the best case to be presented to IRCC, there is no guarantee that it will be approved, again, it is up to the officer in the end. My fees cover the professional help I offer in terms of advice and actual file work.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes! Email me and we can arrange a free 15-min chat to discuss your immigration goals and circumstances, and how I can help you.
